GRACELL was designed 1956 by Yngve Ekström, one of the most appreciated designers of the time. The chair was designed with inpiration from the classic italian Chiavari chair, but with a clear resemblance to the Gemla bentwood chairs. It instantly became a huge success, and was sold until mid 1960's.
